SIX WEEKS COMPLAINT FREE (actually its a work in progress)

I've just completed Day 2 of the Complaint Free World Challenge (again). I was on Day 18 Saturday until mid afternoon on a trip North to visit my friend Bear at Waikato Hospital. I criticised a driver who was hogging the passing lane. I didn't rave or anything, I just said "He's decided not to let us pass. How rude." By the time How rude was coming out of my mouth I knew I'd blown it...

Ah well, its only mid February and I've already made it to 17 1/2 days and I did an 8 or 9 day stretch before that, so I'm feeling really good about it.

Sunday morning we were in a cafe at Te Kuiti with Freya for breakfast and Peter and Freya's breakfasts arrived. I waited a few more minutes and mine still hadn't arrived so i went up to the counter. I suspected that the young woman who served me had misheard my request for 3 lots of pancakes and she confirmed this. She was so sorry and looked surprised and grateful for my "no problem, shit happens" response. They had my pancakes at the table within five minutes, which was great and what was even greater was that I had felt no inclination to criticise the staff member.

This Challenge is doing me so much good, just as it could do you lots of good too, if you were brave enough to give it go and fail, and give it a go and fail, and give it a go and fail, and just keep giving it a go...

So, in the words of one of my favourite actors - Clint Eastwood, in the movie 'Sudden Impact'...

"Go Ahead, Make My Day!"

and join me in...

'The Complaint Free World Challenge'

Go forth and have a Terrific Tuesday!

Namaste
