Another beautiful wet summer morning here in Balmy Palmy, however (not ‘but’, cos I'm not butting, having decided to remove it from vocabulary) I have decided (there’s a lot of deciding going on in my life right now, must be a new year thing) that I'm celebrating summer, wet or dry, cold or warm, by wearing lots of bright colours, talking about it in positive ways only and sitting in the spa under my umbrella (so I can read).

It's interesting how much energy we expend complaining about the weather, perhaps partially because it’s a soft ice-breaker, especially if you work in retail, which means talking to lots of people every day. So finding positive ways of talking about it is going to be fun.

I haven't been complaining about the weather because it mostly doesn’t bother me and also because I'm wearing my 'Complaint Free World' bracelet again, and have been since January 2nd. Yup, I'm giving the Complaint Free World Challenge’ another crack and I'm doing very well. So far I'm on my 4th consecutive day of not complaining, which is the furthest I've got this year (all 20 days of it), and when I have transgressed it has only been once or twice in a day. Last year I think I got to about 12 or 13 days in a row, and then I started back at work and it all turned to shit really. It’s a lot easier when you’re working from home and not seeing anyone LOL.

I carried on with the Challenge for a while, however (not but) my heart wasn’t really in it. I was going through a rough period and I guess I found it more attractive to feel sorry for myself and complain. By the time I’d worked my way through my rough patch (as you do) I’d forgotten about the Challenge, which is a shame as it really does help raise your vibration and keep those self-doubts and fears at bay, as does reading, watching or listening to inspirational stuff, meditation and surrounding yourself with people who uplift you.

So, it’s DAY 4 and I’m rock’n this Complaint Free Challenge!
Go forth and have a WONDERFUL day.

Namaste
